My old man and I got our tags off the alternates list a couple of years ago.  Not sure what number we were but we didnt get "offered" tags until July or August.  We just got a letter in the mail stating we could buy tags if we wanted (first come, first served) and it didnt affect our bonus point.

101 is a great number, you should be in. I'm 823 for the deer combo so it looks like No Montana for me this year  :'(

Last year we had two in our party that weren't drawn on the original and got in on the alternate.  They were 200's and 600's.  You should have no problem with 101.  Good luck

Typically they give out about 500 tags for combo that have been turned back in. If you are under that you have a great chance of receiving a tag. In addition, if you draw a tag via this route you don't lose your points.
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!
