Idaho Panhandle Archery Open Today!
« on: August 30, 2022, 02:17:50 PM »
Well boys, girls and non-binarys... today is opening day of Idaho's panhandle archery elk season! :archery_smiley:

It still feels like summer, I'm not sure love is in the air yet, I'm unprepared and still wearing my flip flops, but dangit I'm going to get out there and sweat my butt off in 100 degree heat! Now if my family, work and friend's wedding plans would just quietly back off a little I could go participate in the activities of Homo erectus, as nature designed me to.

:brew: :brew: to a great upcoming season.  Wishing you all the best of luck, health and safety in this year's redneck fitness program.  I hope you all get to enjoy the spoils of "free" meat. :EAT:

Good luck. I will be out sweating it out Thursday for our archery deer opener here in Washington. But I also need work and family commitments to back off. Luckily no weddings for me. All my friends and family know if they plan weddings during hunting season they better not plan on me being there. Brothers best friend got married in September and had a kid born in October. He was not thinking.

Good luck!

I checked the weather for my spot in MT and it's supposed to be 84 when I get there.  Hot one for sure this year.

Time to get back to our roots and fling some carbon at unsuspecting ungulates!  I'm getting pumped for Thursday too!  I got a lot of honey do stuff done this summer so I'm feeling like I'll get some free passes from the Mrs.

Also got a unit 1 tag so I can play around in north ID when I'm up that way.

Good luck out there gents, may your aim be true, spirits high, and wind in your face.
