Best Elk book for western Wa hunting

Saw a Boyd Iverson thread and did not want to derail by asking about Elk books.

What is your favorite go to Elk hunting book for learning how to hunt Elk better?  I really liked Boyd's book for learning more about blacktail, anyone have a book for Western Elk they think is just as good?

Best book out there is your eyes, your ears, and your boots!!!  Only way to really learn elk hunting IMO.

Some of us dummies need help None of my elk hunts have gotten me any closer to even laying eyes on one.

Lots of elk hunting books are focused on the rockies - not a book, but I've found watching videos from Angry Spike productions on youtube to be helpful for hunting roosevelts.

Forget about modern rifle, too many hunters from an overpopulated Pugetopolis.

 Archery or muzzleloading rifle willl bring a reduction of hunters. I like traditional muzzleloading rifles, the inlines are cheat rifles IMO as they are a modern rifle that complies with the letter of the law while defying it. My advise is to purchase a .54 caliber percussion "Hawken" rifle made by InvestArms, Pedersoli, or Thompson Center Arms Company.  Pay your dues at the range to become proficient with muzzleloading firearms so that you get reliable ignition and have the requisite marksmanship ability necessary for the one shot challenge.

 A patched ball with 80 grains volume of FFG blackpowder from a .54 caliber muzzle loading rifle will get the job done.
