The second deer posted would have been very hard to pass up.....that is a dandy buck.

That is the thing with a tag like this. You have to pass deer after deer that you would shoot any minute of the general season.

Knowing that it will only get better and knowing you can use a rifle in late December I would have passed as well.

 With only $60 invested in tickets you are playing with house money.
