Lobster assuming it's whole and steamed.

If it was all you could eat Lobster all day

if it is one "serving" like a 14oz prime rib or a single whole lobster I would go with the prime rib

Ideally one of each on my plate

I'd take some nice big snow crab clusters over lobster!! This thread reminded me to pull a prime rib out of the freezer for Christmas!!

We eat seafood 3-4 days a week so lobster isn't really a treat.

Prime rib for the win.
Besides it makes better leftovers.... prime rib sandwich with melted smoked Gouda slathered with horseradish dipped in thickened au jus......

That's a good point for sure, although I can't vouch for leftover lobster as I haven't ever had any.   :chuckle:

I got bone in rib this year because I love the bones and meat between the day after.

I've eaten so much prime rib in logging camps that the cut disgust me now. Won't eat it.

I've never thought lobster was all it's cracked up to be but we're able to have access to dungeness, butter clams, steamers and ling cod so most foods suffer in comparison. I'm in the Prime Rib column.

I'll take a dungy over a lobster any day.  King crab is one of the best things on the planet, but at $50 a pound, not happening.  A roast beast (prime rib or other) on Christmas day has been a tradition in our house, my parent's house and my grandparents house for all my life.  So that's what it is.

Not a fan of dungy, if I had known sooner about Winco we would have snow. Wife picked up two dungy's, steamers and shrimp. When I worked as a dish washer at a local restaurant cooking Prime Rib was delegated to me, it was below the chief to do it. My wife's aunt is from Nova Scotia, lobsters were used for pet food.
