Cell Cam Review.
« on: January 10, 2023, 08:42:31 AM »
I thought this guy does a darn good review of these cams.
I've only used moultrie ,and I thought is was junk.
After seeing this review I'm not shocked about moultrie.

Good video, thanks for posting it.  For what it's worth, I just got a full 5 months of battery life out of a Spypoint Flex that took 2.8GB of pictures.

Thanks, good info.  I have had great luck with the Tactacam Reveal X gen 2.  Picture notifications are stupid fast!  I have been happy so far with the photo and video quality.  Their yearly plans aren't too bad either.

I have 2 Spypoint Flex and 2 Spypoint Micro

They have worked great and no issues at all and I cant believe how far they pick stuff up. The customer service is terrible though, spent hours on hold but once I did talk to someone they were very helpful

the tactacam to me is the easiest and most reliable on the market. I have yet to hear very few complaints about them, unlike spypoint

Going on two years now with my SPYPOINT and haven’t changed the batteries once.   I do have the solar panel and rechargeable pack…..well worth the few extra dollars.

Super weird…..maybe I got lucky.  Once I had to reset it but otherwise it’s been flawless.   I have friends in Canada that love them.  I use att….wonder if that makes a difference.

I've never had a problem with any of my Spypoints, just got to make sure it will send pictures before you leave it.

I bought a couple and couldn’t event get them through the set up phase on my mobile devise. After 3 phone calls to customer service (3 hours of hold), I took them back to Costco and bought a garmin inreach and a bottle of Woodford.  Hope you have better luck

I have had a total of 10 Spypoint cameras on my property in John Day OR. Out of those 10 cameras only 1 of them still works. 7 of them quit working in the 1st year. The last Spypoint camera I bought lasted 2 weeks.

I went to Tactacam over a year ago and all 6 of them are still working like new. You can also set the Tactacam to send a check in picture everyday while still in detection mode. Being 6 to 7 hours away from my hunting property it’s nice to get the daily pictures letting me know the camera is working like it should even if nothing walked in front of it.
