This was not the update I was hoping for. I am so truly sorry for your loss and I pray that the love of God surrounds you and your entire family during this time. I pray that the happy memories of Kenneth bring you comfort,  and that knowing you'll see him again someday brings you peace. 🙏
It must be a poor life that achieves freedom from fear.

Our condolences from my wife and I.  Any loss is always hard.   Is there any assistance needed for the possible expenses?   We know that they will trickle in and just doesn't help with the healing process.  Don't understand Go fund me, etc but we can make a contribution if it will help.

There are no words anyone can say that will ease your pain. It just plain sucks! Anger, frustration, and sadness are normal emotions, and though we as men feel we need to be strong for everyone else, please don't suppress them. Find a time and a way to grieve for yourself because if you don't they will come out...whether you want them to or not. Be comforted in the fact that Kenneth no longer feels pain and suffering, but at the end of the day it still just sucks. No father should have to outlive his child. We aren't wired for that kind of grief.  If there's anything you need the Blanchards are on standby.
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton

I am so very sorry for your loss...

One does not hunt in order to kill; on the contrary, one kills in order to have hunted. If one were to present the sportsman with the death of the animal as a gift he would refuse it. What he is after is having to win it, to conquer the surly brute through his own effort and skill with all the extras that this carries with it: the immersion in the countryside, the healthfulness of the exercise, the distraction from his job. ~ Jose Ortega y Gasset
