Genetics or injury?
«
on:
May 17, 2023, 09:01:06 AM »
Checked winter camera. Had this nice blacktail come in 3 days after I put out some scent and he showed up 2 days in a row during the day. Just wondering if he will always be a 2 point on his one side or just a 1 year deal. Just food for thought.

Looks like an injury to me.
Not just a genetic 2 point, the antler actually grew funny.

Sweet buck though. Looks like he wants to crab claw. Maybe next year he will.

3rd set? Would like to get a good look at his right rear leg for an old injury but would guess this is his pattern for life. Neat BT

Could be an injury but it looks like more of a genetic thing to me.

The deer behind the tree is the same deer. Look how much smaller he is compared to his grand daddy

Put your trail camera on video next time out. See if he walks with a limp.
