Actually between classes did all this while taking an online college class as well, will be done with my Bachelors in April!  :)

Happened to have moose vs elk backstraps tonight, pretty similar and both very good.

Was actually kinda disappointed the steaks and back strap are kinda tough, but have awesome flavor! Everything else is the best game meat ever!

congrats,  great write up!  Glad you were pleased with a great experience and animal!

Thank you, yes the decision of what to shoot, or not, was tough, but glad I made up my mind prior so when the time came was ready to make the shot.
