Muzzle-loaders.com got hacked
« on: May 14, 2024, 10:31:26 AM »
I got what seemed like an odd email from tracking@shipstation.com and voiced my concerns to Muzzle-loaders.com and got this response.  Shipstation.com also responded that it was a security breech and to not click the link.

We are reaching out in regards to a recent event with our shipping partner ShipStation regarding additional shipping fee charges. We are aware of the issue and wanted to alert our customers to this event.

We implore that you DO NOT click any of the links sent to you regarding additional postage fees, as they are not from us. Please disregard the emails requesting extra shipping fees originating from "tracking@shipstation.com".

Muzzle-Loaders.com will never reach out via email regarding extra shipping fees, as shipping costs are all handled at the time of checkout.

We are actively monitoring the situation, and working on resolving the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience associated with this event, and will continue to update our customers accordingly. I can assure you that no personal or private information has been released. There is no further action required and please disregard the email.

Keep in mind that we are currently handling thousands of emails and phone calls at this time trying to get everyone's email questions answered. Thank you again for your support and we hope you have a blessed day!

Thanks & God Bless,

I got one from muzzle-loaders.com but it wasn't about additional shipping charges. It was saying my order had shipped. Only problem is my last order from them was two or three years ago.

Same, damn, I was hoping I was getting another muzzy for free!!!  You guys ruined my day! lol  I didn't open the email any further except the original page, figured it was a scam.  Had to tell BECU who called me today from India to go F themselves, called the bank and yeah, it was a scam.  So tired of these piles of crap

I got the one from Muzzle-Loaders yesterday, and the kicker was that I had an order expected for delivery today. Luckily, there were plenty of red flags, so I called them and they confirmed the issue with ship station.
