Oppose HB1504
« on: January 23, 2025, 10:11:15 AM »
https://app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary?BillNumber=1504&Year=2025&Initiative=false

Link to the bill

Bill, if passed would require insurance policies up to $25,000 per firearm

Or self insurance of $25,000 per firearm

Or a $25,000 certificate of deposit given to the wa state DOL

Don't gripe about it on here,

Go to the link, and send your comments in on this bill

OPPOSE, OPPOSE, OPPOSE

An absolute blatant attempt to make a gun registry, price gun owners out, and another swipe at our 2nd ammendment rights.

This affects EVERYONE who owns a firearm in this state.

Thank you for posting this.  Does anyone have an idea what a $25,000 policy would cost in premiums?  We need to spell out how much this would actually cost their constituents.
Introduce someone new to hunting this year.

At this point the insurance isn't even abtainable.
If I need a permit and education to buy a firearm than women should need a permit and education  before getting an abortion.

No idea how much it would cost, but, it does go to show how obvious it is that they are clearly waging war on our 2nd ammendment.

Hope this bill dies.

No worries.  You can alternately provide the state a $25,000 certificate of deposit per firearm.   :dunno:

There should be federal law that requires all these laws to pass SCOTUS review before they can be enacted.
