Had mine scored. Left it till sunday for awards presentation. They had security at night. Got a Bushnell scope from Sportsmans. Thanks. Still in the box.
Said they would send Mont. score sheet to Mont records. Never made it. Did get it to B&C though.

What system are they using for scoring? I know a lot of times these shows don’t score official p&y or b&c.

Yakima uses B&C and P&Y typically, unofficial for the contest, but if qualifies then they try to have it officially done.   Years past this was no charge.   Kinda surprised they are charging this much at Puyallup :yike: but am I really.  I never entered my sheds into the state book.  Even having the number one for decades.  Too spendy to do them all

I mean you can’t mention a #1 shed and not let us see!! Agreed about the price though, I don’t think I can see paying $40 to get it scored when I can get it officially scored for free and get to actually watch the process.

$40 to get scored is definitely not worth it! I paid $10-$15 to get my bull scored the 2018 show

They do out of state now? Years ago I brought my Montana muley to the Seattle show and they said Washington critters only, and it was free then.

I had mine and my wife's bucks scored at the pasco sportsmans show, took em about an hour or 2 because of the other racks that were getting scored but overall great experience. My buck grossed 147 and change and my wife's was right at 150. For full velvet I think they said it would be #5 in the state (only 4 other velvet bucks in the category lol) but still nice to have an idea of what a decent buck scores for future field references

Thanks Russ!  Used to go to the show every year.  One of these days I will make it back.  Two of my daughters have bucks tht would probably score pretty well in the youth category if they still have it.  ight get them a knife or something...

Had my bear skull on tour with them for a few years but they didn't really take that great of care of it and I wasn't getting any compensation for it so I took it back.  They wouldn't even give me the little plaque they had for it, probably just threw it away....  The head and horns and record book part of has gone downhill I think
