I provide a service to cattle ranchers year around that have problem coyotes.  I also provide guided night hunts year around. I sell Night Vision and Thermal optics. The scopes I use are the NVision Halo XRF and Pulsar Merger XL50 LRF HD Binoculars

Back in Wisconsin, every raccoon I'd trap went to two different couples in my home town. Old timers in their late 70's, early 80's....they would take all the extra fish, squirrels, ducks, whatever we didn't want. Never could understand eating the raccoons, but to each his own.
I miss those days...

I miss those days...

A few years ago I was deer hunting with my bow.  It was slow day and I wasn’t gettin’ any actions.  So naturally, when a raccoon popped out I thought what the hell, I whacked it with a grim reaper razor cut launched from my 70lbs of stringed weaponry.  I took my trappers test the previous year and noticed there was some recipes in the back of it and since then I wanted to try one.  When I brought it home and plopped it in the ground in the front yard my wife said “hell no I’m not eating that thing”  :chuckle:.  So, I brought it to work to eat there.  I was SHOCKED at how good this meat was, I probably won’t target raccoons but if I see one and it’s far enough away from houses, it will definitely come home with me.

I made pot roast/stew out of it, one of my coworkers pointed out that I should name that meal “Coon-Tang Stew.”
