Dad and I hunted the Passayten Wilderness during the high hunt for the first time this year... Was an amazing experience... Ran into a bunch of back packers and some day hikers... All of them were nice and polite... Some just a wave and hi, bye, good luck, some want to know what we were hunting and small talk like that, two individual women back packers we struck up a long convo with that peaked interests and I exchanged numbers... Such a positive reaction from most... Now if you wanna talk bikers on trails in Winthrop that may be a little different...

So am I,so I went for for it... Crazy part is it was the same day same trail... One on the way in that was coming out in the am, and one on the way out coming in in the pm... They are nothing alike other than the love of back packing and 19 years apart... On a side note 3 years ago at 3 Fingered Jacks during modern deer I met a lady from Canada, with her daughter and Mom that ran her 300 head of cattle there... She paid for everything too... Brought them back to camp and drank the night away... Turned out she's married but in the lifestyle... Really cool ladys... We still chat...

It has a ton of resources specifically for new hunters but the part that will be specifically helpful to you is thay it has a map of WA ans you van choose any animal you want and it tells you were to go to hunt them. Also tells you how to hunt them as well and how to get to that locations. Just type in:newhunterguide And add .net at the endWho is this site supposed to be affiliated with? Established in 1889, 1.2 million acres protected? It looks like an AI generated junk site
