These wolves will not leave the road! These two went right past a set I had on a side skid trail (30 yards up the trail). I’m going to make a very discrete double 850s (8.5” jaw spread) scent post set tomorrow just off the maintained edge of the forest service road on a drag headed over the steep edge into timber.

I had fresh wolf tracks at one of my bobcat cubbies I got a skunk in this week. So today I dropped a dirt hole set in with a wolf gland lure and a bait hole. Added a pic of the trail going into the timber and then the set.

Had a bobcat and trap stolen today. Someone with dogs took it. Fresh snow made their tracks on the rd in front of my set pretty obvious. Boot tracks all over along with dog tracks. All leading up to my catch circle. They could’ve at least left the trap.

Damn that sucks. Having to use cage traps here in Washington they are even more obvious, it’s a huge win each trap check just not getting them stolen. Man I hate people. Sorry to hear this is happening and can only hope karma catches up to this POS.

Without dogs they’d of never found this set, that’s the hard part in Idaho. When you get a hound guy who’s willing to steal stuff your entire line is toast. Time to switch to snares…
