AUGUST 1ST!
« on: July 22, 2009, 09:49:23 PM »
Just over a week to go! Im excited. Think I'm gonna head up above Greenwater somewhere. Attempt to find some berries and clearcuts.

Just curious who else will be in the hills and what areas people will be targeting!? If you don't want to give up that info I understand, just make it general, westside, east side, etc.

Hope to hear some great stories and see some awesome pictures and have some of my own to post! Good luck to everyone. Finally we will have hunting to talk about again!  :IBCOOL: :hello:

Gonna be out between St. Helens and Adams.  Up high, watching the berry areas, and alpine meadows.
Maybe do some calling.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Battle ground, Washougal units mostly.  Might get up to Siouxon if I can get my family to go with me.  I dont like going up that far with no phone service by myself.

The wait is killing me.  Im buying a freezer this weekend just in case.   :chuckle: :chuckle:

I'm thinking of going.  I usually bow hunt but think I'll use the rifle this time.  West side, probably along the coast.

ive got three spots picked out, going to set up and call. im pretty optimistic about these areas, all signs point to some large bears in the area
No people will tamely surrender their Liberties, nor can any be easily subdued, when knowledge is diffused and Virtue is preserved. On the Contrary, when People are universally ignorant, and debauched in their Manners, they will sink under their own weight without the Aid of foreign Invaders.

Temps better come down or I won't go, excited about it or not.  80 degrees at 7 in the morning, triple digits afternoon.   NOT bear hunting weather.
