I went hunting with my dad in Cle Elum sat and we had just watched 5 deer (with 2 bucks) about 1/2 mi in from the road and decided to pass on the larger 3 pt and we hear WHaAAAAAAAA WHAAAAAAAAAA WHAAAAAAAAAAA about 100 yrds away, some *censored*es on quads went storming thru the woods and ruined the hunt. >:( >:(

I have no problem with quads in general (I don't have any BTW), but once you get to your spot get the hell off of them and hunt.

There is a ton of ORV area around cle elum and ellensburg.  We always went dirt biking labor day weekend in Taneum... why because it is open to the bikes and quads and we also always saw plenty of elk.  Many times we would see and chat with archery hunters and they rarely took issue with the fact that we were using the trail system that allowed motorized vehicles.  Again it always cracked me up the guys in full camo going full out on quads seemed kinda to defeat the purpose of being invisible when you are that loud...but to each his own..... as long as you aren't behind gates and on trails that say CLOSED to Motorized Vehicles...then you are just being a jerk.
