Selected for Cougar!!

I swear I did hound hunts only too. Im still in denial and hope they made a mistake.

They did screw up the card they sent is a cougar hunt with dogs in okanogan-ferry. The internet said chelan without dogs, hell yes.

OK, a couple weeks ago I checked on line and the hunt I was awarded there said Okanogon, Non-Hound.  OK, cool, sweet, I'll buy Steve's CD and a call before December, practice until the wife kicks me out of the house, and make a trip or two over after talking to the local gamie and see if they've got a nuisance kitty on somebody's ranch within that unit that I might try to go get. I figured that was a good plan.

Today I went out to the mail box.. There's this familiar little folded perforated permit card... Hunt # 9013, Stevens-Pend Oreille Co. Season: Dec. 19, 2009 - Mar. 31, 2010. One Cougar, unlawful to kill kittens or females with kittens; DOGS MAY BE USED

I guess I've got a phone call to make tomorrow. There's no denying what I read on the card, but the online result still shows Okanogon boot hunt. And, I didn't get the information packet with the card that says Dogs May Be Used.

    My card says dogs may be used.  They really screwed up.  I imagine everyone got a card that says they can use dogs.  Too funny!!

dudes i got mine today i was selected for the klickitat boot hunt but it came today and mine says the same thing hounds may be used and my hunt choice is 9014 but online it says 9009 i wonder if the fish and game messed up i am going to be mad if i get robbed of my dog tag

Got my card today.  Says "Use of dogs prohibited".      But I applied for a unit that did not offer a dog hunt so....

i got my tag yesterday boot hunt south Rainier. i have no desire to use Hound's got a cougar in 93 with Hound's. would like to call it in Rick

are we still allowed one cougar or two with the permit..
