Lower Yak Valley

Anybody been down to the lower Yak Valley lately???  I was thinking about heading down there on friday and hunt some areas.

Has the inversion been laying in there lately???  THe spot I usually go stays running until it gets really cold.

If you're on moving water you'll be ok, the still water has been frozen solid since 12/9 and may be starting to thaw but slowly at best.  Other problem is finding a good concentration of birds.  No wind or really cold weather to push them off the closed zones.

Wacat, have you been down to the lower valley yet?  I went to sunnyside today and was really looking for upland birds, but saw lots of geese flying, send me an email or something if you are going to be going back down and wouldnt mind me tagging along....?  Cameron

Sort of.......been travelling all over.  Up North, down south, little bit west, haven't been east yet, then again there is tomorrow.  Bucks up north, sheep to the West, which were pitiful, ducks south.
