Are you getting him mounted?

yes a full body

i was ready to cut the the cape in half on the way down and just do a sholder mount, i had a full pack a full body cape plus head and horns i never weighed it when i got home but it was pushin 75-80 pounds.... for 8 1/2 miles i was getting to the point i could only go 100 yards befor i had to sit on a log to get the weight off i kept telling myself i never had to do it again  :chuckle:

what if you end up getting a raffle goat tag? cmon you know you do it again in a heartbeat man

nice goat and great story and pics

I would defiantly do it again in a heartbeat (next time with horses though :chuckle:) I can’t wait to go with somebody else that draws that tag in the future I still feel like I’m in goat hunting mood

I didn’t get a elk but can’t be mad we were on bulls everyday and got busted by a few dandy bulls in that 60-80 yard range it was a fun hunt

Now I gotta get ready for next Thursday moose hunting time  8)
