Too many guns too little time. Just bought a T3 .243 (havent connected), have a swede that shoots lights out (never got it out this year....for yotes, did get an Antelope with it though), 220 swift (never got it out.....did get some p-dogs though  :chuckle: ), a .260 that never saw a dog  :bash:  :bash:.  Oh well the bushy is shooting great. It treated me right for the few I did get. Like they say.... there's always next year.  :IBCOOL:

I believe I figured it out, :whoo:
Leave the camera in the truck... I spotted these 2 from the road while at work, kept a eye on them for about 2 hours until it was time to go.  I was surprised to see that they hadn't moved at all.
It was know time to take action, called Gringo 31 who was close by, to see if he would be interested in insuring a double...  He promptly replied that he was going to bow out, due the bad luck I was obviously bringing him. :'(
My plan was to move in from the north to a spot that I had called from before, & make a stand.  On the way in I spotted another pair of yotes at about 1000yrds to the east.  I had already been busted so I just kept moving in on the first set.
Now just to give you guys a little perspective I am 6'6'' tall @ about 320lbs, so to sneak my big ass in, is a real challenge.   :EAT:

I spent 15-20 min crawling just to get with in 600yrds.  After getting set up I through every call I had at them, they didn't budge.  Started getting real aggressive with the challenge bark, one of them finally stood up, but he was looking back to the the west.  There was a small group of cows running down to the corner of the fence. I had seen this once before with Gringo 31 they were chasing a yote.  I looked back at the first pair they were just disappearing over the ridge, running hard.  30 seconds later two more appeared at about 200yrds, at a pretty steady pace.  Through out a few challenge barks the female stopped, at what I steeped out at 382 steps.  Still cant believe I actually connected after so many Misses....

I think they are in love

Bow-Chica-Bow-Wow

:mgun:

Not so much anymore  :'(

I didnt even fire at the second dog, I was so amazed that I connected with first...... :dunno:

BTW, saw 2 today, one running hard the other bedded down taking a nap but about 440 yards.....next time.

Well, today happened to be "next time".  I saw this same dog bedded down again, not far from where he was the other day.  He was bedded broadside with his head to the right and tail to my left.  I had a little breeze right to left.  He was quite a ways so I held my cross hairs on the hair line between his ears.  Bang Flop.

Stepped of 353 yards.

2 for SBA. Here's a pair that we howled in, saw them coming about 1/4 mile away at full tilt. They got to about 120 yrds and I barked but they wouldn't stop. Finally the male stopped at 80 yrds and I put it down, the female took off running back the way she came and at 150 yds we both shot at the exact time and both connected. These two were in excellent shape so kept the best pelt.
