I was actually out grouse hunting with my newly sighted in 10/22 and happened to run across it. It ran across the road and actually stopped about 30 yards on the other side. I just bought a 4-12X40 scope on it and sighted it in that day. It was pretty awesome. You might be able to see in the pic that I shot it right above its right eye.

What a beautiful cat.  I've treed about 50 so far.  That looks to me to be a pretty young fella.  Did you weigh him?  I would guess 2 year old cat and he "looks" like he weighs about 13-15 pounds. Great looking spots!! Congrats.

Wow, that is a good looking cat. It looks way different than what I have. Mine is more brown, that one is more greyish... Thanks for showing me that!

Very cool. Can't wait to see the mount. For realism are you going to keep that turd thats hanging out of him in your mount?  :chuckle: :chuckle:

Great looking cat, good coloration.  Congrats!
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

Rember they watch this site. Might be a good idea to let people know Idaho, Oregon or elsewhere. I also travel to Oregon and Idaho to hunt my dogs. 12-15 pounds last years cat. Great job!!!!!
