Wow, that is a big female!  Can't wait to see it!

:( Why is it I am the lucky taxi that always gets the cougars shot in the face?

ps- willie...why do u hate me?  would u like a cougar skull to toss in ur shed under those big ass rosey horns from this year's bull :bash: :bash:   waterhead...lol

Now that right there is funny.  I don't care who you are.

That shed is BTKR's trophy room!

Thanks everyone..

there may be a light at the end of the tunnel on F&G...I guess the issue is its hunting season and they are swamped.

They finally gave me what I wanted...written (email) documentation that I have attempted to comply with the sealing process and they were unable to meet their own requirements.

I leave for two weeks (during prime time..what a freakin amatuer move :bash:) and will get the cat sealed then!

as for all the great hunter comments...  please dont!

Next year will start my 5 years of not one dead animal streak and you will all seem very foolish! ;)

Its a lot of luck and a LOT of time in the woods!!!  hell...  with enough time in the woods ya gotta bump into something here and there!

My elk this year....skill
My oregon bow buck this year...skill

my cougar...idiots luck...no skill at all!

Id rather be lucky than good...thanks for the comments!

dave

Longtat, Part of being a good hunter IS the time in the woods!! You have proven to be a great hunter!! Congrats!!

Id rather have killed that rosey of urs than my couger...i think :dunno:  lol

Funny.
No the cougar skull would not go in the shed with the antlers. It would go on the kitchen table with my 20 inch bear skull. To be honest I would have rather killed a cougar then a bull.

Oh yea....I never said I hated you..that was someone else. I said "you suck" and because you do..I love you.

Congrats on killing a great big puddy tat!!!!

And if you had not rolled in cat nip, she probably would not have come to you so easy!!!   :chuckle:
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Dave, when I had mine sealed, I froze it whole in a chest freezer, called the state, made a appointment, and took it to them frozen. It was at the F&G office by the capital. A guy came out, took some info, put the seal in the hide along side of the gut incision. After that the taxi skun it out, and I took the carcass home and cut it up. Pretty good eatin. If at all possible, do a lifesize. I did a rug because of money, but I wish I had a lifesize. Awesome cat!! Later

It just dawned on me that maybe the cat was running up to LTL cause it was in a romantic mood?  :dunno:
