so just wandering what people think of burris scopes i think there as good as leopold just cheaper and easer to deal with whats yalls  expieance. just wondering. sorry for the spelling thye have done me good and lasted longer than any scope ive bought in the same price range

I've been using burris for several years and have had no issues, with that I have not had to use burris service either so I can't comment on that. but thats a good thing.

i agree i had one problem i lost a cover i sent an email and asked how much it would cost for a new one and they sent me two so i had a spare for free good company i wont buy anybody else's stuff good company

Have an older Burris Signature series 2x8 on my Sako .308 Mannlicher as well as an older Fullfield 3x9 model on my daughters Sako .243.  Excellent quality for the money in my opinion.

When I say older, I mean early 90's vintage.

I have a Fullfield 3-9x40 that I purchased in '98, and it's been repaired twice. Apparently couldn't handle the recoil of a .338 Win mag. I will never buy another!

Love them! I have had one since early 90's and it is still dead on. Never had a repair so I cannot speak of their customer service. Mine was made i the USA. Are they still made here?

I have two, seem to be good scopes. I heard that the fullfield II are build over sea's somewhere.

I have 2 FFII's and one lives atop a Tikka 300WSM...and has done fine.
Good scopes, good glass, I believe in Burris Optics.
I chose them over Leupold.

i wouldn't trad my euro diamond for anything....... well maybe some swaro's but that's about it. there dang good if you ask me. or better yet ask that deer i shot this year at 268yards with a 15 mph cross wind in the rain. i had a lot of faith in that scope (and rifle) and it paid off

Not to stir up an argument, but imo, Burris doesn't stack up with Leupold at all.  Durability or clarity.  You get what you pay for.

a 900$ Burris and a 900$ Leupold are both going to be pretty darn good, i think the Burris will be a little better because you've got to consider that with the Leo about 200 of that price is the name with Burris its just that much more in quality

Guess I should have read your first post a little closer, as I thought you were deciding on which scope to go with.  Now, I will argue.  Leupold far outweighs Burris in every aspect.  Personally, I would buy 4 Konus scopes before I would ever consider ever buying a Burris for the same price.

I have had Leupold's in the past and now have Burris. A lot of people compare the low end Burris with the high end Leupold's. Not a far comparsion. I love my Euro-Diamond and would not trade it off.
