Nope, looks interesting though.  I wouldn't mind smoking a barrel shooting snows.

Thats what i was thinking.  I believe he's going to Missouri, and the guide he talked to told him that where he will be hunting has no daily limits, so he can shoot as many as he wants to clean and eat.  I've never done anything like this before, so i don't know if the price is a good one or if its high or what 9$525 for a full 3 days of hunting).  Figured id ask if anyone had any positive/negative experiences.

3 days of snow goose for $500 is a deal I think! you will need $500 in shells  :drool:I'm sure after 3 days your shoulder will be a little sore. My family is from north Dakota and my uncle tells me every year to come in the spring for snow geese. No limits and basically no rules. That being said if anyone needs info to go PM me my uncle is the John Deere implement dealer and our family has been in Walhalla for 3 generations so we know all the farmer's. Sorry didn't mean to jack your thread

Basically, what I got from the friend who wants me to go with him, is that the $525 is only for the 3 days of guided hunts.  Airfar, hotel, food, and all that stuff is not included, thats more that comes out of our pockets.

That being said, hes paying the $525 for the hunt, $315 for round trip airfare, and the hotel will be about $50 a night.  If he goes alone, hes lookin at $990....which is right around the $1,000 for that "new for spring 2010" package.

Now I just have to figure out how to justify $1,000 to shoot some birds to the wife..... :)

I talked with them 1 or 2 years ago about going on a spring hunt...I think it was Matt who owns it? Anyway, seemed like a good guy but I would suggest really looking at the harvest numbers. It isn't a Zink video where your killing 50 birds per hunter per day...its more like 6 or 7 and those are long days in the blinds and mud. Lot work for 6 birds a day. Just my  :twocents: as it would be a fun adventure, just not a massacre.
