I had a great hunt and kill this morning.
« on: January 09, 2010, 01:18:17 PM »
I started my day with the THRILL OF THE KILL. A possum dared to not only trespass, but poop in my shop. After a one hour hunt I flused him out of a coat and kicked him into the driveway. He dared to hiss and spit at me. I let loose with three rounds from my 12 guage shotgun. It reduced him to a puddle of blood and fur. This is the best morning of 2010.

I'd say he got what he deserved, plus 2 extra rounds!

I sense a little rage? :dunno: :mgun:   I feel the same way with those filthy oversized rats, we lived at a place and in four years our red heeler killed 121 possums in that time frame.(we had a tally chart on our refrigerator) And guess who had to burry every one of those stinky *censored*s. me....

I think that I was using number 8 or 6 shot.  However, they were of the 3 inch variety from between 20 and 10 feet.   :IBCOOL:

Those dang things freak me out.  I was more comfortable being stalked by a black bear sow then I was seeing that big rat eating pizza in the taco bell drive through.  If those things make it to spokane I will move or buy more guns.

Yeah I have yet to see them over here. Hated them when I lived on the wetside. I would always go out of my way to hit them on the road. Anyone seen them on this side of the state?
Will hunt for food.

Wow. That beats my personal possum best... ten pumps and a pellet to the forehead @ 5 inches.
The more I get to know the less I find that I understand.
