WOW....you would have to start it off with two great pictures. I'm not worthy.....Would eagle pics be considered predator pics?  :chuckle: other than that I have nothing that compares. Nice photos bone. That coyote is real nice.

That or Idaho.  They're still shooting them there I think.  I was thinking about doing a combo shed, wolf hunt down on the Snake or over on the Salmon. :)

No time to set the camera for this, just shoot. Only get a pic of them capturing dinner about once every couple years.

I know your pain, that is often the difference between success & complete failure for me..  The only thing worse is to think you get the pic & not get the dog but when you take a look at the pic you really rushed the pic & it didn't turn out either... :'(

finally get around to it....Maybe I should have saved this one for May!

Well, I know That this is not quite the caliber of picture that would fall into the ranks of the others on here.  But I haven't been able to get out & get another just yet.  Since this month is Predator Hunting, at least the subject mater is there.  It suprises me how many people I show this to that don't know where the Coyote is in the picture.  If it is that hard to see let me Know & I will post a revised version to point it out...

Well into the second half of the of the month. I like Bone's Kitty, and Sako's 'Got Dinner'.  Swag... Photo shop?  I'm not accusing.. Just kinda looks a little too clear of a doggie outline compared to the sage and rest of suroundings.

Wow!!!!! :o

You are giving me way to much credit.... :chuckle:

Here I thought that it was actually a bad picture due to the fact that the bush is actually in focus & the yote kind of blends in the the back ground..  I am barely familiar enough with the new SLR I took the pic with let alone spending time trying to figure out how to use photoshop for anything else other than to crop the pic's in effort to keep my stand locations a secrete.  :peep:

In answer to your question, no It hasn't been photo shopped I just cant a very good pic. :'(

My humble apologies! It's an excellent photo since it has not been modified in any way. The foreground and landscape beyond the subject is blured just enough, and the subject is in focus so good even when viewed through the grass, that there is no mistaking what you were hunting that day. Fact is, at that range, getting a photo of a live doggie coming in would be very tough. I also like the blured rifle and scope. Many people would have tried to crop that out. Good content! So yes, I do give you credit.

I'd give you even more credit if you shot him twice. (once with camera, then with rifle.. Now that'd be tough.)

Bullchaser... How did you get that kitty to pose like that?  You cage me up.. I'm gonna look a helluva lot more pissed than that!  :chuckle:

Here is my second entry. Nice female take while running away at 500 yards. Notice entrance wound on rear leg and complete pass through from rear to front with exit wound just under eye. Who says a 40gr. V-Max can't get it done at long distance?

Dang Decker those are great pics.   Pics usually can be submitted up until about the 26th of the month.  I ran a little late this month and the poll went up yesterday.

THANKS GUYS!  It looks like my bobcat picture took it this month.   THANKS for the votes guys.  I appreciate it!

Thanks boneaddict. I will make sure to get any entries in before the end of the month next time. Nice capture and contest win with your bobcat pic. I didn't know how you were taking votes yet, but that would have been my choice. Congrats!

Congrats Bone!!
