I am getting ready to bite the bullet and begin reloading. I was wondering if anyone can give me their opinion on the Lee Anniversary kit?
I'll be reloading for the following, .300WSM, 30.06, 30.30WIN, .308WIN & .357MAG.
Will this kit fit my needs for years to come or would you suggest something else?

The Lee kit I am sure is great, but have never used one.  I have owned nothing but RCBS since the day I started reloading.  You might look at the Rockchucker kit to compare.  Either way, you will be addicted in no time.

I my self have all RCBS rreloading EQ, but a buddy of mine has the Lee kit and and has no comlaints about it.

RCBS here also, I have heard both sides of the fence on Lee. A good friend is nothing but Dillon and I gotta say that they a top notch with any warranty. Like most stuff, take care of it and you will have years of great service.

Rock chucker is what I bought last year and I have a blast with it. Came with just about everything you'll need.

I bought the Lee Clasic Turrett Kit that Cabellas sells Happy with it. Great bang for the buck. Kempf has the kit some better stuf though. Use the money you save to buy dies and  stuff

One other thing, when I was looking to get into reloading I was advised to get a single stage first and if I really get into it to go progressive. I think it depends on the person though, but I can see how a progressive could get a guy/gal in trouble if they are a rookie.

lee is western family grade to me never been very happy i am a huge rcbs fan as well as redding never let me down and loaded a ton of shells i would wait tell you find a good deal on a rcbs kit and pick it up they will last many lifetimes as well great investment and with the bigger cals you will save the extra money that it took to buy the kit fast.

I like the idea of having the option of using the turret as a single stage or semi progressive! I don't like the fact that the new RCBS is made in China now! Lee is US made for less $. Lot of guys on the Firingline forums like the Lee, Some guys say it must be green or blue. I just wanted something that fit my budget and my needs, Lee did that for less money. Don't like some of their stuff, didn't like the scale that came with my kit, so now I have a green one! LOL

I got the Lee Anniversary kit to get me started.
Very good for low-volume shooting.
Which I had a progressive for 223 and handgun calibers.
Don't let anyone tell you Lee is junk, it's just high value.
BTW, used but perfectly good reloading gear is available all the time.
That's where I will find a progressive.
Take your time and read, read, and read some more before you drop the first grain of powder.
If it looks wrong, it probably is.

I have a Lee shotshell reloader, and I love it. It was inexpensive and works great! I use the RCBS for rifle/pistol reloading. I too got the rockchucker kit. I would recommend the RCBS rockchucker.
