I'm kinda bummed out you can't hunt deer with a 223 cal here in WA, I loved using my AR back in Wisconsin for Whitetails, it's nice and lightweight. Maybe a new 6.8SPC upper is in my future...  :IBCOOL:

Here are mine, actually just one lower and two uppers.  RRA Entry Tactical with all the goodies (shoots .6 MOA ), and a Oly arms .243 WSSM that shoots minute of moose.  These are both getting replaced very soon.

Thanks,

The WSSM is nowhere near where it needs to be on accuracy.  I'm gonna try some tubbs final finish bullets and if that doesn't fix it I'll send it back to the factory for another.

Replacing the .223 upper because I am on a long range kick and need a heavy barreled bolt gun, just can't afford it so something's gotta give.  That load that produced the .6 groups is a 40gr at only 2900fps, so pretty substandard for coyotes IMO.  I plan to get another one just like it later down the road, because I really like it for an assault-type platform.  Much more reliable and accurate than my ol' Colt M4.  Also plan to get a 24" varmint type upper in .223 as well, for coyotes at shorter range.

thats awesome man. Did you ever use that RRA entry tactical for yotes? i just got a bushmaster m4 16" carbine and am kind of second guessing myself if it was a good choice for an AR platform for coyote hunting. What do you think? i love the gun, i just am not seeing very many guys using the m4 carbines for predators...
