White Salmon Tom
« on: April 17, 2010, 04:21:55 PM »
Got me a goodun yesterday.  Toms all henned up not responding to calls, decoys.  So I posted up in a fallen tree ditch in the fly down/up zone just a couple of hours before dark.  This fella came right to me along the timber/clear cut edge....20 yards babam! 9.5 inch beard and inch spurs.

Vegetarians?..Vegetarians are cool.  All I eat are vegetarians....except for the occasional mtn. lion steak.

Thanks for the comments!  Good thing is I get to go again later in the season.  Centurion....i tried the Kalama on the way to and back...for nothing except an old comeback steelhead.  Heard theyre catching a few though.  Jonesing for springer meat for sure.

Good luck drifterat....expecting some killer pics from ya.
