I thought that I read something in one of today's papers about a poaching ring out in Ocean Shores where guys would run over the deer with their cars then take them.

Wow now thats a "Hardcore Road Hunter"  :chuckle:

I was told you could contact the State Patrol for a tag when you found road kill.  I now know that it was incorrect information.  Thanks.

If you think about animals going to waste, as long as other animals, insects, and other micro organisms can get to the carcass, nothing ever goes to waste.  Its just smells bad and can be unsightly.   As Josey Wales said, "Worms gotta eat too." Or was it buzzards.

Road kill.....I think I will pass on that I could see if I was the one who hit it but sometimes it lays on the black top for a long time.....

Yeah but its better to get them when they are still alive sort of like getting the dieing quivers ya know. So the dead ones arent as good
