Great first bowkill, and congrats on whackin that fawn killer as well.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

here's the story of that whitetail:
Me and some buddies got permission to hunt some land in *****, so we took off down there, got our stands hung way to late so it was an instant hang and sit sort of deal. Well after two days of not seeing anything I decided i wanted to try some spot and stock. Not the easiest in those open weat fields. I did however manage to stock a MONSTER 2 point, hoping for an eye gaurd :dunno:. Well finally at they started getting curious and started walking straight to me. I thought about shooting a doe that was with him, but passed. Well that same evening my buddy sat in my stand and missed a buck at some close odd yards. Well next day he gets a call from the old lady she's on her way to the hospital going into labor, So we dropped him of at the only grocery store in ******. Well i decided i would try the stand again. Well prime time just started to hit and hear the sound of a 2 stroke flying down the road. Well hear came this deer to quick to tell what it was straight into the apple tree 10ft from my stand. After a while i looked down and seen his head sticking out, He looked like a two point so i was trying to find an eye guard and when i seen one i put and arrow straight through him. The best rush i've had ever.
Well thanks for reading my long drawn out story, i know it isn't that exciting but it's one memory that will never be forgotten

I bet it got you excited   Great job on a nice buck.
There's a reason they call it hunting, not killing.

I've always said- any deer with a bow is a trophy. Well done.
I ate tag soup on my archery deer last year.

You don't look that happy for taking your first deer (and with a bow, no less).  Congrats!

Pretty cool.  Thanks for posting.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
