Still no phone calls here. My one and only choice was Capitol Forest, only because with my time being limited this spring, I wanted to stay close to home, otherwise I would've applied for one of the NE units.

Speaking of Spring bears.  I came back to camp with my girls one spring and found this guy feasting on some blue berry bagels.  My daughter had a nice souvenire as her waterbottle, which at sometime must have had juice in it was perforated with bear teeth.  She got a great kick out of that at show and tell in school.  I bailed out of the truck and ran the bear about 50 yards and treed the bear.  We backed off, and dang if he didn't go back to the bagels.  This picture was after I ran him out of camp.  He went a ways out and sat and watched and waited.  Grandpa and I and the kids were highly entertained, the wife wasn't.

Great photos, and I agree with jtim.

You couldn't have ask for a better setting for that bear to stop and stare.

Yes the pic with the yellow flowers is really good.

Apparently the WDFW is not making any phone calls today? I'm guessing I won't be hearing until tomorrow.Hopefully they didn't save all the losers for the last.

Thanks guys, I wish I could have been just a touch clearer, but no tripod and a little low light.

I hear you about the WDFW.  I'm hoping the losers weren't called last and the winners first.  I have sure heard from a bunch of folks that have been drawn.

Isn't there a previous post about someone getting a call and not being drawn? F&G told my partner that they all had lists and none were in any sort of order.

He is still waiting as is my wife.

Edited for typos....at least the ones I found!
