Fishing tide changes for Skokomish River

Howdy all,

Well me and a buddy may be heading out to the Skok to do battle with the crowds and hopefully land us some salmon.  My question is it best to fish the low or the high tide changes for a river like the Skok or both?  We plan on fishing towards the mouth of the river up 106 so we will be fairly close to the ocean.

Not sure if we should concentrate on the low or the high tide or if both are equally as good.   

Thanks and keep posting those pics of fish landed.  (it's good inspiration, and somewhat a source of frustration...sorta like a guy posting a pic of his super hot girlfriend.  hahaha)

don't waste your time fishing up by the farm, or around the purdy creek combat zone.  the fish are fresher in the lower reaches of tidewater, and bite a lot better because they haven't been harassed by snaggers yet(or at least as much).

no nets to worry about down there, either...

Here's an old topic but I would like the same info. I combat fished it two years ago and did will at the farm, 20lber one day and a 25lber the next. How do you get to the lower river? Also, I don't remember what time in August is best to fish this river and what tides. Thanks
