The Tikka has landed

I got my Tikka put together and sighted in. .25-06

This should replace my .30-06 for High Buck hunting. I must say that for the price the Vortex DiamondBack 4x12x40 seemed to be the right choice for me.

There's only one thing that I do not like about this rifle. It's a pain in the ass to load a round directly into the chamber. Instead it is much easier to fill and load the magazine. Irritating. Other than that I have no other complaints.

Nice rifle, got one myself Tikka T3 Lite SS .300 WSM.  It should shoot great you will love it.  Most my rifles either have a Burris or Leupold scope on them but I have heard nothing but good things about Vortex optics.  When you get to use the scope in the field let us know what you think of it.

I have two Tikkas, 300wizzum and 7-08.  both shoot great and are easy carry all day.
I am in the market for a 243 and it will likely be Tikka, also.
I want to try a Savage but want a detachable mag.

LOVE my Tikka T3 Lite SS .300 WSM.  Tack drive out of the box, and with Sims recoil pad, not too hard on the shoulder.
Does a number on deer at 30 yards though......  I figured on a longer shot, but he stood up right in front of me.

I took a close look at the savage and they are nice pieces. I must say that my CZ is still my favorite rifle hands down though!
