Monster San Carlos bull
« on: October 01, 2010, 10:00:16 PM »
Attached is a picture of a bull killed on the San Carlos Indian Reservatin in Arizona by Washington resident, Dan Agnew, on 9/30. The bull is a typical 7 x 8 and has an estimated green score of 428 gross and 409 net.

The taking of this bull, together with three other 400" plus bulls, including a 421" non-typical taken by 19 year old Kristy Stevens, will  be featured in a new video/dvd entitled "Elk Hunting with the San Carlos Apaches II" which willbe available in Januray, 2011. This new video/dvd is being created by Chappell Hunting Producitons and will be a sequel to the popular "Elk Hunting with the San Carlos Apaches" video/dvd that was released in 2004.

Wholy crap Batman!  From what I gather he has close to 4-6 bulls over 400"?  I think that this is his second or third San Carlos bull over 400 and at least 2 in WA.  Wow!

Yeah, who says money doesn't make you happy?  That guy is shooting some huge bulls.  (And I don't have a problem with it - good for him.)

Wow!  Great work Dan.

So did both of these bulls gross 428 and net 409? I was thinking that was the score of his Wash beast this year!

Nice looking bull.  The mount should take up a wall.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

Hunting the famed San Carlos reservation and shoots the same size bull as right here in WA!  As long as we can keep the wolves out we will see more of these class of bulls.  What a dandy!
