Knife Sharpening Angle
« on: October 06, 2010, 07:14:44 PM »
I use a Gatco sharpening system to work my knives over. I was wondering what angle others use put on their hunting knives? I used to use their recommendation of 25 deg but have changed to the next smaller angles of 19 and even 15 deg and like the sharpness better. I realize the edge will not last as long but I like a really sharp knife.
