Successful Hunt photos
« on: October 14, 2010, 08:00:46 AM »
I shot a mule deer doe 20 minutes after hunting light at a distance of 30 yards archery hunting.  Shot my first bear!  My dream has always been to harvest a bear and I was lucky on this 6 1/2 foot chocolate phase black bear bruin.  He was taken with my .30-06 at 225 yards the evening of the same day I shot my deer on Sept 19 2010 eastern WA.  A great day of hunting since it was the first time I had been hunting in 15 years.  I had a great hunting party and we all had a great hunt this year.  I am already planning out next years activities.  The bear will be made into a wall hanging rug and the skull a wall mounted display.  See previouis post of other hunting members success.
