I really had no plan, He took it behind a "Hancock gate".  It was actually in Yakima county that this deer was taken.  Hancock does have land in Klickitat and Skamania counties too.

I'm going to live the rest of my days trying to beat my boys Buck he shot last year out of the Bridge gate..

Wow Jam that has to be the widest blacktail I have seen come out of the Kapowsin tree farm big congrats to your boy hope he is a shoulder mount somewhere in your home.

 Seriously, what a monster, I've only seen one other blacktail that wide from the Satsop and it was in the top all-time in the State book.

I TOOK A NICE 2 POINT OUT OF THE KAPOWSIN AREA ON SATURDAY MORNING THAT WAS REALLY THE ONLY DAY THAT THE WEATHER WAS GOOD. CAMPED  AT LAKEVIEW RESORT.WENT UP 5 DAYS SEEN QUITE A FEW DOE AND A COUPLE OF ELK THE REST OF THE TIME

Another person in my hunting group took a 3x3 out of the Snoqualmie Farm yesterday. So for us its been two spikes and one 3x3 this year in the Snoqualmie.

So after spending three hours in the central property this morning I meandered into the buckley gate and in a matter of 10 minutes of being in the gate I harvested a spike. Glad that I have my animal for the year. But what blew my mind was for the three hours in the central saw 25 rigs forgot how packed that place gets.
