You can use a bow in rifle season if you want.  I believe they still have to follow the hunter orange rules of rifle season though.

You have to have a rifle tag to use a bow during rifle season and follow hunter orange requirements.

dont let em get ya down, jealousy can be a pain in the ass. thats a great buck, no two ways around it congrats to you.

question for the question askers, what if it is a flashlight and he banded there because it was easy  :dunno: maybe it wasnt there while he was hunting? some folks are awful quick to jump to concussions around here and it does get old.

Well if you walk out of the woods draggin a deer and have it strapped to your bow and the warden is standin there you're gonna get time to explain it to the judge while you are arguing the ticked.

I would really like to know why there isn't any blood at all!! I know some guys wash up their game before pictures....but there isn't any blood at all!! Not even a blood stain on the inner legs....and if it was a lung hit, did he wash out the inside of it's mouth?!?! There is quite a bit that doesn't add up on this one......

Hunting with a bow in rifle season is legal and smart, the deer are rutting then.

But it does look like a flash light.. just sayin

especially if you're hunting in a firearms restricted area.

I forgot to add that there is blood on the deer.  It is above the white string guide.  This is the side the arrow came out, and he laid down on that side, so it is a bit smuged.  There is still blood on the arrow.  I had to resize the picture to post it here.  I will never post anything on here again, think whatever you want.  Some people are just jealous and mean.

I wondered why the game warden was giving me a bunch of crap the other day when I was dragging  my buck out with my Barrett .50BMG...I wasn't hunting with it.

Why, is a 50BMG illegal to hunt with?

forgive me if this pisses you off but you posted a picture of you and an archery killed deer.  The bow "seems" to have electronics attached that is the first violation.  The second is you have not clarified that you have a rifle tag.  That's all.  It is a nice deer and hopefully everything is on the up and up.  It's your picture and those are the facts in the picture.  Kinda like the guy that shot the big bull elk years ago and right behind him was the yellowstone park boundry sign.  Pictures don't lie.

Not grilling you but you do have 2 items that seem illegal, a flashlight and a lighted sight.  If thats not what they are please explain.  Also there are no areas open yesterday for hunting bucks with a bow.  Do you have a rifle tag?  It is a nice buck and if you took it 100% legal then congratulations if not.......

He already said it wasent a light and does not own a lighted sight!
Why does the guy owe anybody anything? Geez. Nicest Buck of the year and everybody has to grill the guy. No one ever heard of hunting with a Bow during rifle season? It is the Rut time when the biggies are dumb. Bow4elk hunts a bow during Rifle. So do I.

Give the guy the benefit of the doubt.

How many pics are on this site with people and there animals without there vests on. ALLOT!

Like jealous girls...

Some people on here are indeed jealous and mean.  And some people won't say what the hell that thing is on their stabilizer that looks suspiciously like a flashlight.  But you are smart to remain silent,  it is your right, and after blowing up the picture and seeing that it still looks like a flashlight I would say you may end up having those rights read to you by the officer that knocks on your door with a copy of the picture asking the same question.   Not trying to really be a prick but I think there is enought there to warrant the question being asked.

No i don't think Jealous is a good word to use. it just does not seem to add up. if this is for real which I am starting to wonder if this is just not a really good photoshopped picture but if not congrats that is an oputstanding animal for sure. what is with the Flashlight or what ever that may be strapped to the side of the bow. and the blood spot???  really. again congrats if this is real but i think this is just a photoshopped picture. I am by no means jealous that is for sure. things just do not seem to add up from what i have been reading on this.
