I have a lady at work with a freezer full of trout... she wont eat em.  Giving them to me for bait!  :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

anybody ever tried herring for bait? what is the typical setup? I was thinking a 1-2oz sinker on a sliding rig with a 3/0 hook. am I right?

hey wait a minute when I gut fish I cut the belly open then squish the guts out with my fingernail ;) then cut the heads off..... and yeah been known to look at their guts just cuz its kinda interesting.....

And truth is I dont mind gutting fish there are worse things like writing technical papers for science class, paying bills, I taught my kids how to gut fish since they liked fishing so much....its kinda cute now when they offer to bait hooks for me and deal with fish in the rare event I catch one  :chuckle:
