I think what PB is frustrated at as well as myself are so many guys putting in who really don't care to hunt any of those species
It does make sense that you would be allowed to use a "lesser" weapon, but I just don't see where the law allows it. It does say under modern firearm seasons that you "may use modern firearm, archery, or muzzleloader," but if you look under archery seasons it says "archery only" and under muzzleloader seasons it says "muzzleloader only."
I honestly didn't think you could hunt with your bow during the muzzelloader hunt. I know you can in Modern, but not in anotehr primitive weapon season. I don't think you can flip flop those.
have also ran into a few hunters that have said they put some of the hunts down on their application just to fill up the spaces, I told them I thought that was BS and why, I don't know if they continue to do it but I am quite sure there are more folks out there that do it.
Once again, easily solved if they moved it to two choices or....one choice and then the second only counts if the that unit isn't filled up.

You draw then you can not draw the next year, but you can purchase a ghost point. You keep gaining points and F&G keeps getting the permit ap money.

I like that, it would seem to help the odds a little. I don't know how much it would help the really tough to get tags like margret, quinault and entiat.
