E-Collar Selection
« on: November 07, 2010, 11:55:19 AM »
I am considering buying a e-collar to work with my bird dog on range.  I am wondering what units people recommend?  I am considering the Sport Dog 800.  Any thoughts?

I train my dogs almost every day for the past two years with mine collar and i have a dogtra 3500 super-x and i haven't had any problems yet. I train with a couple of pros and that's all they use is dogtra. Great all around collars.

For hunting use, the dogtras are nice because of their size. For long term use if you train dogs almost every day I'd vote for Tri-Tronics.
