Man...I don't know how to reply to this one. Awesome thread.

:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

I'm getting ready to call the dad's in my life too along with my brother and thank them.  I hope all the vets know that we haven't forgotten them and that we do appreciate what sacrafices they have made in the name of freedom and our rights to pursue what we want to do.

When I think things cant get any worse, when times are tough, and my backs up against the wall, I look into my fathers eyes, that oak medals case that resides on my fire place, and ask him for help and guidance every day! And every day, he's still there! I can hear him asking me, "what would I do"!

Not sure of the author but it puts it in persepective.

Thanks to all who have been there and done that so we at home are free. And to those who have given there all you will never be forgotten. God bless all our servicemen and women.
