That is a very nice bull and good story, but...I am just trying to figure out what the screwdriver was used for while recuperating.

Nice looking bulls.  Sounds like it was a good trip.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

Awesome bulls. Great to see bulls coming out of that unit. I heard a lot of elk were taken out of there this year.

Funny thing also happened - When we took the last pack out for the night a hour before dark (2) guys were there and one had a any bull tag - I told him to stay down by the corner of the meadow till dark to see if any of the other bulls we seen with the herd would come out - well 1/2 hour after we left the 5x5 comes out between the (2) bulls we took (they were about 50 yards apart) and he gets him with one shot. It was a nice 5x5 too. Also I was told a guy got a shot at the Big Boy too but missed him - So I haven't heard of anyone getting him.

Yeah I think I have dreamed at least a dozen times now of the Big Boy - Don't think that dream is gonna ever go away but that will definitely fire me up ever hunting season to come !

Has anyone heard of how anybody did in Little Natches (Peaches Ridge) - That was my first choice being I have hunted it for at least 25 years.

He uses a 300 Ultra mag. using 168 grain Berger Bullets - I use 225 grain Trophy Bonded Bear Claw Bullets.

Thanks guys on the Congrats. I am still dreaming though of that 360 Bull - Just 2 seconds more .. That's hunting though always dreaming about the one that got away ! But like they say ... a bird in the hand is better than 2 in the bush..

never did understand that quote. why is one bird in the hand so much better than having two birds in the bush? What bush are they speaking of? I like the bush as much as the next guy but not with birds in it. I am confused.
