Heaters in ground blinds

I think the stand isn't going to work for me tomorrow, not for very long anyway. Anybody have problems using heaters in their popups? Anybody use them for archery hunting?

Make sure you have plenty of ventilation, don't need one of those tragedies!!

I hear you there, I have 4 mesh windows and a back door. Should be able to keep it airy enough. How about the deer winding the propane?

I've hunted out of a ground blind, but never in extreme cold. Even still, I'd pass on the propane, esp in the PNW. I'd be glad the blind keeps me dry and shields me from the wind. Cover up in some blankets and use a few chemical heater packs.

Don't they make a heater called, Mr. Heater or Heater Buddy, that you can put in a trailer that's safe. A buddy of mine has one that he puts in his little 13 ' travel trailer.

I used the Mr.Heater in my blind when I got drawn for the Desert hunt. It worked great. I put in on a game cart with a 5 gallon propane bottle and walked in about two miles. Saw some deer from the blind. Good luck.

You wouldn't think you'd have to tell another hunter that, LOL

Tomorrow should be warmer, I'll just pack in more layers, walk a little slower and try not to sweat as much.
