how many times do i need to pattern my gun
i've only done it i don't know for the past three years over and over again
on paper in the woods at the range what else can i list

If you're set on shooting That gun, find a duck/goose load that patterns decent and go with it. Stay away from the high speed stuff. Buy some 1300 fps stuff and try it. I can't believe there isn't a bunch of shells out there that will pattern nicely thru your gun with most any choke at 30 - 40yds. I've patterned close to a hundred target and hunting loads over the last 20+ years thru a lot of different guns with different chokes and the only loads that sucked were my own super high speed duck/goose loads.

sakoshooter is righrt on slow down your shells, they just work better, PS I shoot a Skeet 1 Truechoke  :twocents:
