hunting rain......good idea or bad idea?

thinking of heading out tomarrow morning.  just learning duck hunting and I'm not sure if rain is good for duck hunting or not. whats your thoughts

Hunting in the rain can be kinda crappy for the hunter sometimes but in general, the worse the weather, the better the hunting. I have had some great hunts in the rain.  :twocents:

yeah the rain will get the birds moving.... a little wind also helps...

The nastier the better.  If your getting into duck hunting buy Gortex.

I have done really well in the rain before. snow, rain, fog, wind... ALWAYS help duck hunting
