Honey Hole

Found a honey hole last year looking for sheds, scattered across a ridge, all 19 of them, cant wait to see if they will drop there again this year. Any one else ever find a spot like this, it was 2 miles in and what seemed like 10 miles out all up hill.

We found a spot about 15 years ago where it was all me, my dad and his friend could do to carry out all the deer sheds that were in about a 10 acre area. Haven't found another spot like that since. Not even close it was insane.

I found a whitetail spot like that quite a few years back. Me and my buddy found 20 something sides....Don't think that will happen again any time soon. Wish I would have taken a photo.......

Wow thats crazy ! I've found ridges where we have packed off over 20 mule deer sheds, but never elk sheds. Is that Washington sheds ?

Very nice!
I've found a couple places where one clearing or ridge had 15 - 20 deer sheds, but my best day shed hunting was 15 moose paddles from one clearing that was about 300 x 300 yards. There is nothing like having the truck bed FULL of moose sheds from one days worth of shed hunting.

What ever you do...don't tell anyone where it is! Had a place like that for mule deer that produced lots of sheds for about 4 yrs. Started seeing others in there on the 5th year and have only found a few there over the last 5 or so yrs.

Looks like you found the ridge a bachelor herd was on come time to drop. . . Great find! Hard to say whether that exact ridge will be the one they're on this year, but the general area is definitely worth going back to!
