Martin Bow
« on: February 20, 2011, 01:27:18 PM »
I have purchased a Martin( Slayer) compound bow. Though I've never used a martin bow before I have heard good and bad about them. A sport shop closed in mosses lake area and I told my friend who lives over there to get a bow for me as a back up to the one i'm using. It was reg. 599.00 and I got it for 168.00. It's not like i'm out a whole lot of money. I was just curious if anyone has used this bow. Thanks'

I have a 2004 Martin SlayR Nitrous Cams...and they will have to pry it from my cold dead hands, to get it from me!  It is has a smooth draw, very quiet (no string silencers needed)!  It is set at 70# with my short draw at 25", and still gets a respectable 260 fps, with a 440 grain hunting arrow.
